Joseph King is a tattoo artist with over three decades of experience and a lifelong respect for the craft. His journey in tattooing began more than 30 years ago, rooted in traditional tattoo fundamentals—bold lines, solid composition, and artwork built to stand the test of time. That foundation continues to influence every piece he creates today.

While Joseph is best known for traditional tattoos and black and gray work, his experience spans a wide range of styles, including geometric, watercolor, anime, and custom designs. He approaches each tattoo as a collaboration, taking the time to understand his clients’ ideas and translating them into thoughtful, well-executed artwork.

Joseph believes tattooing is more than just applying ink—it’s about trust, communication, and craftsmanship. Whether working on a small personal piece or a large custom design, his goal is always the same: to create tattoos that feel meaningful, intentional, and wearable for life.

BOOKING WITH JOSEPH

Hourly Rate:

Joseph's hourly rate is $150 per hour.

Deposit Details:

A $150 deposit is required to secure your appointment with Joseph and must be paid before beginning work on a tattoo design. Your deposit will apply to your tattoo at the end of the last session. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Travel Rate:

A base rate of $150, along with an additional .67 cents per mile traveled to cover transportation costs. His hourly tattoo rate is set at $150. If Joseph needs to stay for an extended period or requires a flight to destination, the client is responsible for covering airfare and lodging expenses. Travel will be booked by Joseph King and an invoice will be submitted to client for reimbursement.

You can book directly or fill out the Appointment Request Form in full and Joe will get back to you to go over details and schedule your appointment and take your deposit.

No tattoo trades.
